Hello and welcome to my studio website! I am a piano teacher with more than 20 years of experience in giving private piano instruction to children and adults. I believe that music is a gift which is meant to be shared with everyone, both young and old, and that no one is too old to begin learning! I love introducing young people to the beauty and joy of the piano, and working with adult students who want to reconnect with the instrument, as well as with adults who are new beginners.

Over many years of teaching piano lessons to a variety of ages, I have come to appreciate the vastly different needs that adult piano students have in contrast with children. While each age group needs to learn many of the same skills, adult piano students need an approach that is informed by an understanding of their lives, including not only their constraints but also their life experience and knowledge.
